ORSAY Birthday Gala

After ten years in the Polish textile market, ORSAY has settled in the wardrobes and hearts of young women for good. Marking a decade of great success in Eastern Europe, ORSAY celebrated its birthday on the 29th of August, during a ceremonial gala in the Warsaw Expo Hall. As well as the huge raspberry birthday cake (naturally, the colour of which was identical to the Orsay logo) the attractions prepared for the guests included: the autumn collection fashion show, a concert by ‘Öszibarak,’ a performance by the Australian Brendon Shelper choreograph dance group, and culinary delights.

The sophisticated appetizers, although they were delicious, were not the focus of attention for the guests. The workers, partners and clients of ORSAY as well as the cream of Warsaw show business society were indeed at the fashion party; the main attraction of the gala was the Autumn/Winter 2007-2008 collections fashion show. The inspiring, eclectic outfits received loud applause and they will undoubtedly appear in the wardrobes of the invited guests.

20 beautiful models appeared on the catwalk as well as 12 celebrities who are the heroines of the ORSAY jubilee campaign. Joanna Koroniewska, Ewelina Flinta, Katarzyna Hermann, Daria Widawska, Marysia Sadowska, Kasia Klich, Dominika Gawęda, Magdalena Różczka,
Karolina Malinowska, Jagda Marczułajtis, Aleksandra Woźniak, and Maria Niklińska presented a special birthday, and limited, collection of dresses – 12 different models that will be available to buy in ORSAY stores soon.

One evening with celebrities was fortunately not the end of attractions. The photographs of our incredible and fascinating women will accompany the clients of ORSAY all year round in the shop windows as well as in Modny Kalendarz ORSAY (Fashion Calendar by ORSAY). The birthday gala in Warsaw finished at midnight, but it will be undoubtedly remembered for a long time.
